1.  RALPH LEE6 REYNOLDS  (LEONIDAS ERASMUS5, LEONIDAS BASCOM4, HARTWELL STAIN3, HENRY HARTWELL2, HENRY1) was born 24 May 1918 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and died 22 Sep 1963 in Erie, PA.  He married DOROTHY M SISSON 02 Nov 1940 in Erie, Erie County, PA, daughter of CARLTON SISSON and VINNIE REMALEY.  She was born 18 Jul 1918 in Eire, County, Erie, PA, and died 19 Dec 1999 in Erie, County.



Ralph L. Reynolds residential history in Erie, Pennsylvania from 1940 to 1964. In 1940, Ralph L. Reynolds lived with Aubrey and Clara Reynolds at 1803 West 14th Street. Ralph's occupation was listed as an attendant for Kitchen's Tire Service. Kitchen's Tire Service was located at 724 Peach Street and owned by Henry H. and Agnes A. Kitchen, president and treasurer respectively. From 1941 to 1947, Ralph L. and Dorothy lived at 1727 West 14th Street. Ralph's occupation was listed as a machinist for the Skinner Engine Company. In 1948 and part of 1949, Ralph and Dorothy lived at 1678 West 11* Street. This home was owned and also occupied by Cariton R. Sisson. Beginning in 1949 through 1950, Ralph and Dorothy lived at 1689 W. 14"1 Street. Also, during this time, Ralph changed employers. He is listed as a machinist for Eriez Mfg Company. In 1951, Ralph and Dorothy moved to 323 West 5th Street and remained there until 1957. Another couple, John and Virginia Dickey lived at the same address. Ralph and John were both employed at Eriez Mfg Company. John's occupation was listed as an assembler and Ralph was listed as a machinist until 1957 when he became a foreman. In 1958, Ralph and Dorothy moved to a home at 1342 W. 25th Street, which they owned. Ralph's occupation and employer remained the same. This was the final address listed for the Reynolds up to 1964 when the search of the city of Erie directories ended. During the time period from 1961 to 1963, Carol A. Reynolds also lived at 1342 W. 25th Street. Her occupation was listed a&office secretary-tor Prudential Insurance.

Suddenly, early Sunday September 22, 1963, Ralph L. Reynolds, age 45, husband of Dorothy Sisson Reynolds, residence 1342 West 25th Street, father of Carol, and Thomas Reynolds. Brother of Aubrey Reynolds of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Mrs. R. A. White of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Mrs. J. D. Mack of Springfield, Virginia. Friends may call at Chester A Schaal Funeral Home, 550 West 9th Street  Monday evening 7 to 9 P. M. and are invited to services, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Interment at Eire County Memorial Gardens.

Dorothy M. Sisson Reynolds

Retired from Zukor Club

Dorothy M. Sisson Reynolds, 81, 1768 Zimmerly Road, died Thursday, Dec. 16, 1999, at Western Reserve Health & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Erie, July 18, 1918, daughter of the late Carlton and Vinnie Remaley Sisson.

She worked as head cook for the Zukor Club and retired in 1983. She was it life member of the Zukor Club’s ladies auxiliary and was a member of the Miracle Mile Group and Our Savior's Lutheran Church.

She volunteered for the Perkins Presbyterian Church Food Bank.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Reynolds, in 1963.

She is survived by a daughter Carol Smith of Conserve. Texas: a son Thomas Reynolds and his wife Jeanne of McKean: and two grandchildren, Tracy and Jennifer Smith,

There will be no calling hours. A service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at your Saviors Lutheran Church 5312 St. The Rev. Bagel will officiate.

Burial will he at Erie County Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements were handled by Francis V. Kloecker Funeral Home 2502 Sassafras St.

Memorials may be he made to the American Cancer Society Erie Unit 2115 W. 38St. Erie, PA 16508, or to Because You Care Inc. McKean, PA 16426.

Erie Times-News (PA) - November 15, 2001 Deceased Name: Thomas R. Reynolds Worked for the Erie Water
Authority Thomas R. Reynolds, 51, of McKean Township, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2001.
He was born in Erie on Dec. 24, 1949, a son of the late Ralph and Dorothy Sisson Reynolds.
He worked as an electrical mechanic for the Erie Water Authority for 30 years.
He enjoyed NASCAR and restoring street rods. He was a member of the Maennerchor, the Danish and Zukor clubs.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Heintzel Reynolds; a sister, Carol Smith of Converse, Texas; two nieces, Tracy and Jennifer Smith of Texas; and a sister-in-law, Mary Fran Margetta of Erie.
Friends may call Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Francis V. Kloecker Funeral Home, West 25th and Sassafras streets.
The service and the burial will be private.
Memorials may be made to the Crawford County Human Society, 11012 Kennedy Hill Road, Meadville, PA 16335, or to a charity of one's choice.

2.  CAROL A.7 REYNOLDS (RALPH LEE6, LEONIDAS ERASMUS5, LEONIDAS BASCOM4, HARTWELL STAIN3, HENRY HARTWELL2, HENRY1) was born 13 Jan 1942 in Erie County, PA.  She married JAMES E. SMITH 11 Jan 1964 in Eire, Erie County, PA.  He was born 01 Jun 1939 in Youngstown, Ohio.

Carol Ann (Reynolds) Smith, 69, passed away Friday, February 18th, 2011 after a short but courageously fought battle with cancer. She was born in Erie, Pa. She arrived in Texas after many moves as a military wife. Shortly after moving to San Antonio, she began her job at Kitty Hawk Jr. High. She retired from there 22 years later. Carol enjoyed working with all of the students and made many lifelong friendships with her coworkers. She was a devoted mother, loving grandmother, caring friend who will be missed dearly. Carol is survived by her two daughters and spouses, Tracy and John Obadal, Jennifer and Dustin Cross; and her two granddaughters, Chloe and Quinn Cross. She is also survived by many friends who loved her like family. An informal memorial service will be held for her at Colonial Funeral Home in University City, Texas on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, her family has requested donations be made in Carol's name to Boysville ( or Cancer Therapy and Research Center.
