Funeral services for Mamie Lee (Forrest) Gregory of Richmond, will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2004 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.

      Funeral services for Mamie Lee (Forrest) Gregory of Richmond, will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2004 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.

      Visitation will be held for Mrs. Gregory from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2004 in the          Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home.

She is survived by son, Robert Burns of Richmond; granddaughters, Darlene Blair and Brenda Petras;   six great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.

    Robert W. Burns, 81 of Richmond, Texas passed away on Monday, March 21, 2011. He was born March 26, 1929 in Houston TX to Mamie Lee and Charles Burns. He graduated from Richmond High School in Richmond TX. Robert served as Corporal in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Korean War. Upon his return from service, he married Katherine Padgett Burns. He retired from the Texas Highway Dept. where he worked for 30 years. Robert loved to sing, deeply loved his family and highly valued his friendships. Robert is survived by his daughter, Brenda Burns Petras and her husband, Frank; grandchildren, Kristina Kenney, Leslie Davis, Brad Petras, Amy Carpenter, Jennifer Carpenter, Cindy Carpenter, numerous great-grandchildren and dear friend, Betty Stone and her family. He is predeceased by his father, Charles Burns; mother, Mamie Lee Gregory; step-father, Robert Gregory; spouse, Katherine Burns and daughter, Darlene Blair. Pallbearers are Brad Petras, Joe Casasas, Joe Robinson, Delaye Rosenbaum, Eugene Valchar and Elgin Vogler. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Thursday, March 24, 2011 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Visitation will be held from 5pm until 8pm, Wednesday March 23, 2011 in the State Room of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.

Funeral services for Darlene Francis Burns Blair, age 49, of Buffalo, Texas and formerly of Richmond, Texas will be held Friday, March 7th, at 1:00 P.M. in the Buffalo Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Lloyd Lane will officiate at the services. Interment will follow in the Buffalo Cemetery.
    Visitation will be held Thursday 1:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. with the family Present 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. and Friday 9:00 AM till service time at the funeral home.
    Darlene was born December 19, 1958 in Richmond to Robert and Katherine Padgett Burns. She grew up in Richmond and attended Richmond schools. She was a homemaker and loved NASCAR racing, going to the beach and the lake. Darlene also enjoyed being outside. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Richmond. Darlene died Monday, March 3rd at Hospice of East Texas/Homeplace in Tyler, Tx. Darlene was preceded in death by her mother, Katherine Burns.
    Survivors include her husband Curtis Blair of Buffalo, Father, Robert Burns and companion, Betty Clay of Richmond, Texas; one step-son, Wade Blair of New Waverly, TX.,; three daughters, Cindy Carpenter of Port La Vaca, TX., Jennifer Carpenter of Port La Vaca, TX., and Amy Carpenter of San Leon, Texas; one sister, Brenda Petras and husband Frank of Richmond, TX.; Nieces, Tina Petras, Leslie Davis; and nephew, Brad Petras.
